Welcome To Aaron's Big D Climb Fundraising Page For Team Elizabeth at Howard Hughes
Welcome To Aaron's Big D Climb Fundraising Page!
I will be participating in the Big D Climb on Saturday, January 27, 2018. Please support me with a donation. Our efforts will help make a big difference in the fight against blood cancers.
Why this is important to me?
Blood cancers have affected people very close and dear to my heart, including my father, best friend's brother and my assistant at Howard Hughes. The good news is that Leukemia is very treatable due to the amazing research so it's not as hopeless as it was many years ago.
What is the Big D Climb?
The event is a stair climb up 70 stories of Bank of America Plaza in Downtown Dallas. Although it will be challenging, it pales in comparison to what blood cancer patients go through. All proceeds benefit The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
Who is The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society?
The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) is the world's largest voluntary health organization dedicated to funding blood cancer research, education and patient services. The mission of LLS is to cure leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin's disease and myeloma, and improve the quality of life of patients and their families. Since its founding in 1949, LLS has invested more than $600 million for research specifically targeting blood cancers.
All donations are greatly appreciated and are tax deductible. They'll not only support LLS research but patient services, advocacy, public and professional education, and community services as well.
On behalf of blood cancer patients everywhere I thank you for your support!
