Welcome To My Big D Climb Personal Fundraising Page
I plan to participate in the LLS Big D Climb as a "Virtual Climber", cycling 70 miles in support of the 70 stories my teammates, who will be climbing on Saturday, January 27, 2018. As I am unable to participate in the actual event on Saturday, my goal is to complete 70 miles of cycling during the week surrounding the event. Please consider supporting me with a donation. Our efforts will help make a big difference in the fight against blood cancers. The picture you see is my odometer from Sunday, January 29th, 2017.
What is the Big D Climb?
The Big D Climb is a stair climb up 70 stories of Bank of America Plaza in Downtown Dallas. Although it will be challenging, it pales in comparison to what blood cancer patients go through. All proceeds benefit The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
Who is The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society?
The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) is the world's largest voluntary health organization dedicated to funding blood cancer research, education and patient services. The mission of LLS is to cure leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin's disease and myeloma, and improve the quality of life of patients and their families. Since its founding in 1949, LLS has invested more than $600 million for research specifically targeting blood cancers.
All donations are greatly appreciated and are tax deductible. They'll not only support LLS research but patient services, advocacy, public and professional education, and community services as well.
On behalf of blood cancer patients everywhere I thank you for your support!
